Check in: from 3pm New Zealand time on the day of arrival. You may attempt to check in prior to this time, but we do not guarantee that your room will be available for your use.

The Management reserves the Rights to offer an equal or higher room configuration in relation to your booking(s) to cater for contingencies (if any) whenever if necessary.
Number of guests in your room is not to exceed the number made in the booking.
Late arrivals welcome: if arriving after 9pm please send us an email for us to furnish you our late check-in instructions once you have made a confirmed booking online and prior to your arrival.
Please note credit cards are accepted when making online and/or phone bookings. We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards. Other methods of payment include EFTPOS/Debit cards, cash and Paywave. Union Pay is also accepted as payment at our Hostel. * No booking or card fees if you book on our website, with no card fees for Visa, Mastercard and American Express. 3% surcharge applies for ALL Paywave and Credit Card Payments made offline/in person/on-site.
This is to keep our prices lower for EFTPOS or other payment methods or online booking where Accosy Hostel/Community Convenience Centre Ltd doesn’t incur fees from the payment provider.
Credit card details are stored securely and used to CHARGE ALL CARDS IN ADVANCE OF ARRIVAL, 'no shows', or cancellations within 48 hours of the date of arrival, or for damage, theft, additional cleaning, smoking/vaping inside, inappropriate behaviour or breaching terms.
By being a guest, Accosy Hostel does NOT accept/permit guests for quarantine purposes including self-isolation.
Photo ID required for all guests. For health and safety reasons, guests must produce photo ID at check-in that matches the guest name on the booking, and that we will take and retain a copy of this ID to accompany the guest's signed registration to minimise the risk of fraudulent credit card usage and for verification purposes with your credit card provider in the event of disputation. Walk-in guests must also produce photo ID at check-in. We may require guest(s) to provide a security deposit at check-in to guarantee payment of any incidental charges.
We will respond to your online inquiry as soon as possible, however bookings are not confirmed until credit card details are received or payment made.
It is illegal to smoke inside buildings in New Zealand. All rooms (and everywhere else indoors) are smokefree in accordance with New Zealand law. Smoking is allowed outside only. Please smoke outside away from open windows and doors. In the event of someone having smoked in the room we reserve the right to charge cleaning costs and any resulting loss of income to the registered guest. We will charge you cleaning, deodorising, drying out and repair costs at a minimum of $200 if you smoke indoors.
Drug use is not permitted. If you use drugs on the property we will evict you without refund.
Disorderly behaviour may result in cancellation of your stay without refund. This includes excessive drinking, excessive noise or disturbing of other guests.
Please state your ETA with your booking. In the rare occasions when the office is unattended upon your arrival, kindly contact our head office at +64 (number coming soon on here) by call or through text message for us to guide you to check-in. Alternatively, please check your email prior to arrival for check-in instructions.
Cancellations or changes to bookings must be made at least 48 hours prior to the check in date and time or you will be charged the full amount of the booking. This cancellation or changes policy shall apply to all bookings, online or offline or phone bookings. Written cancellation by email is required.
Please be aware an administration charge of NZ$25.00 applies to any permitted cancellation or change, so please double check your check-in and check-out dates prior to making a reservation.
Any booking cancellation or failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date will be treated as a "No Show" in respect of a booking and will result in the total payment under that Booking Confirmation (including any Add-on/Extra charges together with any applicable tax paid) non-refundable and will be forfeited. It is your responsibility to ensure you have selected the correct dates of stay.
Your reservation via this or other website, is considered your full agreement with our policies, terms and conditions. We retain the right to refuse or cancel accommodation at any time for any breach and no refund.
